Hello and thank you for visiting Kagee! We're dedicated to producing beautiful, happy, healthy border collies. We have been showing and raising border collies in Northern California for over 20 years, dedicating ourselves to the breed for show dogs, performance dogs, and the very best family dogs. We are forever students on the endless pursuit to create top quality, show-stopping border collies that bring happiness to the hearts and homes of others.

We're a small, home-based breeder. We love raising our dogs together as a family and including them in our daily life. We spend countless hours with them, where they bring tremendous joy to us! They melt our hearts and bring us loyalty and companionship. We couldn't imagine our lives without them!

Ensuring the health and well being of our dogs is our top priority. We perform health testing of all of our parent dogs, ensuring that we're making the best generations of healthy dogs going forward. We perform health screenings including hips and elbows, and various DNA testing.

From the day they are born, to the day that they leave to their new homes, our puppies are part of our family. Before we hand them off to their new life, they have had many great adventures, teaching them independence, critical thinking, and about all the wonderful things in the world that await them. Living on the ranch, they get to enjoy wide open spaces which enable them to find joy in exploring the world around them- learning confidence, and a new love for exploring their surroundings.

 

Our lines are based on some of the best that Australia and other regions of the world have to offer.  While we love to see our dogs in homes that compete and train in various dog events and activities, we know that most of our puppies go to loving companion homes. For this reason, our commitment is strongest in working towards temperaments and health of our breed.
